Artwork Specifications

Artwork Supply
If you would like to provide your own artwork, please take a look at this quick guide to preferred file formats:

Adobe Illustrator
DNN Signs use CS5 so AI files are fine but we would prefer files in EPS when possible.
All images should be embedded and all fonts should be converted to outlines.
No changes can be made by us unless you supply fonts or hi-resolution images separately.
Charges may apply for any changes made to artwork. You will be notified in advance.

Adobe Photoshop
DNN Signs use CS5 so we accept PSD in a layered format. Please supply fonts. You can also send us TIFF files.
TIFFs should be flattened to ensure all images and fonts are embedded.
Make sure that your files are in CMYK colour format and at resolution of at least 300 dpi ¼ size.

CorelDRAW
If using CorelDRAW, please export as EPS.

PDF Format
If you have Adobe Acrobat, you will be able to save/print as PDF. Please do this at a High Quality Print setting and save at least 300dpi ¼ size depending on the overall print size.

FONTS
All fonts used in the file must be supplied unless converted to outlines. If you wish to email across the font, please do so with the artwork.

Please, keep in mind that for quicker turnaround time, all supplied artwork must be in one of these file formats: .eps .psd .pdf .tiff .jpg. All .psd .tiff .jpg files must be at a minimum of 300dpi resolution and in CMYK colour format.

COLOURS
All colours in the file must be CMYK. If you use spot colour, please convert them to CMYK before saving. Duotone images must also be converted to CMYK. Exact colour match is not guaranteed. Critical colour requires a colour key or match print. Colour laser copies or other proofs are not considered accurate prepress proof.
If you wish a sample of a print before ordering, this can be done free of charge if an order is placed after acceptance. A charge maybe applied if no order is placed.
